Boy or girl? If the teen's a girl, babysitting is great, pet/house sitting and dog walking is great too. A guy? Try yardwork, raking leaves, ect
Reply:Offer to clean out your neighbors' garages, attics or basements. Everyone has a "junk room" that they don't ever get around to cleaning up and a day spent cleaning someone;s garage will earn you a lot more than dog-walking will. LOL if you lived in my neighborhood, you could come over right now and clean my garage-- I'd LOVE to have a teenager I could pay to do that!
Reply:Go to every door in your neighborhood and ask if they need any yard work done. When all the leaves fall I'm sure you'll find people that want you to bag up leaves.
Reply:There are businesses out there that hire 15 year olds. Jobs like bagging groceries, data entry and working in stock rooms. In our community the local Burger Kings hire 15 year olds. Start out by visiting local business (ones you can walk to as I assume you cannot drive yet) during the week and during business hours so you can make sure you can talk to the manager. Make sure you are well groomed, walk in, ask for the manager, introduce yourself and shake their hand and ask if they hire 15 year olds. If so, tell them you are interested in working there and ask for an application. Good Luck!
