Reply:I am a small lender through a company located in San Fransisco. I read about this company in Money Magazine and join (for free) last April. So far I have bidded on and became part of ten loans. Borrowers can borrow 25k and have three years to pay it back. There might be over 100 lenders such as me that make up one loan for a borrower. The minimum you can bid on any loan is $50. So far I have loaned out a little over $1,100. I have make about $42 in interest and received about $62 in principal. I bid on business loans, credit grade As, home ownership and bank account ownership is verified by the company. I complete no paperwork and collections is done by an outside agency for the company. This is not a get rich quick scheme. The company has plenty of free information for borrowers and lenders and here is their site. Good Luck.
