I am DROWning in Bills..Any Ideas on how to earn some extra money..While working already working a 40 hr week.
Cut out anything that could be considered an extra like cable or internet. Perhaps not internet if you need it for work or online classes but even them you can go to the local library. You may also look into bundling you phone, internet and cable if you need to. Sometimes that can save you. A cell phone may be more feasible then a home phone. Try cutting the home phone and just use the cell. Anyway, go through every room in your home and anything that you haven’t looked at in a year or used, get rid of it. Have a yard sale. Instead of buying that cup of coffee, tea, or coke or whatever your drink is, put that money in a jar or old coffee can. Any spare change that you have gets dumped into the jar as well. You will be surprised at how all that spare change adds up. Also, cut the credit cards. You don’t need them. See about combining them all onto one card and pay over the maximum balance every month. Once that is paid down, cut that card. Pay cash for everything. If you use plastic, it is easier to purchase things that you really do not need and you will not monitor what you are spending. Also, write down every penny you spend and on what for two weeks and that will give you a little more insight on just where you need to cut spending. Your main goal is to pay off your debt. Any extra you get goes directly to your debt.

It is hard getting out of debt. That is why there are so many people in it. The key is not to get there in the first place. We really do not need the newest most expensive cars, clothes and other things. Those are luxuries. If your car payment is too high, if you have one, consider selling the car and getting a less expensive used car. Your will not have to pay such a huge tax on them and the car will already have depreciated.

I don’t have all the answers. I just can give you advice. It works for my husband and me.
Reply:Try do something from home..I am working from home now...If you have things set up as an office you can do quite well..
Reply:My first response would be to take a hard look at your expenses and see what you can really cut out. We had to do that many years ago, and it worked until things turned around for us. The other thing is that with a 2 year old, will what you make cover your sitters' bills? If not, try something from home like surveys, or home based things like Pampered Chef, Avon or something like that? Good luck. Have you considered waitressing? or something that is a commission or tip related job?
Reply:You can make really easy money doing online surveys, cash offers, and paid emails. It's all free to join, and you can do everything on your own time. If you're interested visit my site:

Reply:Do you mean a 2yr old child?

If you can find a reliable baby sitter you could get a part time job, something different from what you are doing o/w it would be just a continuation

How about getting a real estate license, real estate is starting to turn around now and that would be a good weekend job might even turn into a full time
Reply:First look at your budget, create one if you do not yet have one. Cut back where you can. Once done and you still need more money and want to work at nights, check out http://www.wahm.com for some ideas.
Reply:You shouldn't get a second job if you have a two year old. The baby needs your love and your attention.

Speak with a bankruptcy attorney. It's possible all of your debts could be discharged in bankruptcy. (Note, certain debts cannot be discharged in bankruptcy. You cannot discharge student loans, child support obligations, fines and taxes.)

I filed for Chapter 7 Bankruptcy about 10 months ago. It's not the end of the world. I'm glad I did it. I couldn't even afford to make the minimum payment on my credit cards.

Good luck.
Reply:I was in this same situation about 6 months ago. I started looking into secret shopping, taking surveys, and focus groups. They don't bring in the same income of a regular job, but they do help out in a crunch. I would usually get paid about $50-$100 per focus group. I would recommend surveyspot.com. They don't pay much, but it does add up after a while. I'm not sure if this would be in your area, but I do focus groups with Peters Marketing Research. That is where I make the large amounts. Things like chewing gum, shaving, tasting chocolate. It's worth checking out.
