I really wanted know help from either of our families i wanted to be a man and do it by myself.
Pregnant girlfriend need a way to earn extra money?
The holiday shopping season is upon us...a lot of stores hire part time seasonal work.
Early next year a lot of stores are doing complete inventories.
Both of these type of jobs may hire for just the weekend.
Meanwhile, can you put an ad in a "free" paper or a local paper for handyman/odd jobs available weekends only?
When we first married my husband got a job weekends at a Christmas Tree stand. He helped customers carry their tree to their car and load it. He got some nice tips.
Good luck.
Reply:When i got strapped for some quick cash i found a bunch of stuff that i owned but really didn't need then sold it. I got a quick 1000. I'm sure you have some things that aren't necessities and that you could spare to get rid of. As far as the job thing goes. What part of the country are you in?
Reply:then realize that an electrician jobs can be either really really
busy or really really cold, find another career and keep the electrician job on side, you going to need the benefits with a child on the way
Reply:I understand wanting to do it on your own. I really do. I was doing it on my own for a year.
But sometimes, you have to swallow your pride and ask your parents for help. I had to, it was painful, but in the long run, everything has worked out.
Also she could call a few telemarketing places (sitting jobs), or a few retail places. the good thing about doing that is that she will be working there for more then 3 months and thus would be eligible for 3 months of paid maternity leave (best taken when baby is born). Then she can stay home with baby for 3 months and you two will still have the second income. Come the end of those 3 months, she can take another 3 months off of work (and still get her job back), however it is unpaid.
