I would like to earn extra money working p/t from home using my computer but I don't want to get caught in a scheme or spend a fortune of my own money to do it. Maybe typing transcripts or something. Any suggetstions???

Sorry, the only thing I can think of is searching the job online that meets your criteria. But be careful, if it involves you shipping and packing stuff, don't get involve since its probably a company operating illegally. A legit company will use a warehouse company to pack and ship stuff, not personal homeowners.
